San Andreas Police Department

Recruitment Offices

If you want to to do something worthwhile such giving back to your community via fighting crime, then a career in the SAPD could be for you. Becoming a member of the San Andreas Police Department generally isn't easy. The main goal in this department is to reduce the crime rate and keep the citizens within San Andreas safe. In order to become a part of this prestigious department, you must:

-be at least twenty one years old, but no older than fifty-five years old((IG)).
-be able to work well with others, alone, and in stressful situations.
-have a minimal criminal record.
-hold licenses which entitle you to the use of a motor vehicle, an aircraft, a boat, and firearm(s).
-be physically fit, healthy, and mentally stable.
-be able to use and understand the English language.
((have great roleplaying skills, no matter what the situation is.))
((be at least level three.))

Applying (( First Step ))

Your first step to become an officer is to submit an application. Being fluent in the English language is an essential part in order to make a professional application. You're required to speak English fluently and appropriately along with proper punctuation. Failing to do so will result in your application being denied. We regularly check applications, most of which are checked within twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Take note that you are not allowed to bug or annoy other officers, no matter what their rank is, to check your application. If you're caught doing so, your application will be denied. Submitting an application can be boring, however, applications show the applicant's dedication, ambition and effort; skills that are going to help him in the future. Take note that your application will be set as PENDING by an recruitment officer as soon as he checks your application and decides that you should pass to the next step. Once your application receives the 'Pending Ride-a-long' status((will be posted on the application, not the prefix of your thread)) you will be moved to step number two.

Ride-A-Longs (( Second Step ))

Your second step to becoming an officer is to complete two ride-a-longs. You're required to undergo TWO ride-a-longs with two different police officers. Only rank two and above can perform ride-a-longs. Upon performing your ride-a-longs, the police officer will begin by asking you various questions regarding our handbook. Therefore, make sure to study and read the handbook thoroughly. ((This is mainly to test your roleplaying skills, as well as your general handbook knowledge.)) You may find officers within the department, or on the streets. If you know a police officer's phone number, then don't hesitate from calling or sending messages to him, but keep in mind, asking once is enough. Completion of step number two will then move you to step number three.

Interview (( Third Step ))

Your third step to become an officer is to schedule an interview with the Chief, the Deputy, or the T&R Captain. We highly recommend you to study the handbook accordingly as either one of them may slip a few questions regarding weapons, the handbook, and procedures in the SAPD((Once again, this is mainly to test your roleplay skills, as well as your general handbook knowledge.)) After you finish the interview, you can find the results posted on your application within a few hours. Once you've passed the interview, you'll move onto step number four.

Invitation ((Final Step))

After receiving your results regarding your interview, you will take part in the final step to becoming a part of the SAPD. You'll be given a badge of a probationary officer once you reach this step. As a probationary officer, you'll be required to attend training sessions, as well as to pass a CTO (cadet to officer) test in order to be classified as a police officer. You may required to undergo several training sessions if the Chief, Deputy Chief, or T&R Captain feels they're needed. After being fully trained, you will receive your CTO test.
